Position Summary: 

We are looking for software engineers with hands-on experience in building excellent user experiences and platforms, and delivering them from conception to production. You should be able to work in autonomous agile cross-functional teams, be an excellent communicator, and a good team player.

You will explore up-and-coming technologies, and be expected to experiment, test, learn and teach them to others, as well as document processes and strategies. 

We are looking for someone to come help us improve, and build upon, our current Alia Benefits platform and our future integrations with various cities and gig platforms. Our current problems include how do we build and scale for a wide variety of domestic workers across the country with many different needs from cultural to technology and accessibility.

Job Requirements: 

Skills and experience we’re after:

  • Experience with Python3 and Django
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Experience with Git (Github), Jira, Confluence
  • Experience in a cloud infrastructure environment such as GCP or AWS
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Being comfortable working with a variety of third party APIs and developer tools
  • Comfortable working or learning about the whole stack; from backend to frontend to infrastructure
  • Comfortable with writing your own tests
  • Comfortable with pair programming

Nice to have:

  • Experience with another programming language such as Javascript

  • AWS (IAM, ElasticBeanstalk, RDS, S3, CW, and much more)
  • Containers
  • Django, Python3
  • Twilio
  • GCP and Data Studio

We can offer:

  • Salary Range: $70k-100K, depending on experience
